Qigong cultivates bodily strength and mental calm. This Taoist practice integrates movement, breath, and qi: internal energy. Gentle, relaxing exercises strengthen joints, muscles, tendons, and bones and increase flexibility. Qigong stimulates energy circulation in the body, enhances mental clarity, and generally promotes health and longevity. Qigong is also an excellent way to gently introduce mobility and relaxation to people experiencing physical challenges.

This workshop includes talks on qigong, Chinese medicine, and Taoism. This intensive is a rare opportunity to receive instruction in two unique qigong lineages: the Pre-Celestial Limitless Gate School and the Yiquan School. The first was founded by Daoist sage Chen Xiyi, the "father of qigong." Lineage holder Dr. Eva Wong has given Acharya Asrael transmissions and teaching authorization in this traditional style.

Programs 1 and 2 are only offered together, not separately. In Program 1, students learn both outer and inner qigong. Outer qigong includes strengthening the muscular-skeletal system: joints, muscles, tendons, bones, and the spinal column. Discover tendon changing, marrow washing, self-massage, and calisthenics. Inner qigong nourishes the internal organs and cultivates qi. Learn sleeping qigong and standing qigong. Program 2 focuses on tendon changing and self-massage. The Twelve Devas Tendon-Changing System and the Nine Self-Massage System are taught in their entirety. We balance physical methods with the cultivation of mind, integrating shamatha meditation practice throughout the program.

If you have completed qigong levels 1 & 2 already, you are welcome to repeat this program for half-price. Please pay at the registration table.
