Public Meditation Practice
Public meditation practice takes place every day of the week except Saturday.
Open meditation practice (no instruction)
Monday–Friday: 12–1pm and 5:30–6:30pm
Sunday: 9am–11-am
In addition, the Main Shrine Room* is usually open to the public 12–6:30pm for meditation.
Sunday Community Practice
9am–12pm
During longer sessions, meditation alternates with brief periods of walking meditation, led by an experienced meditation student or instructor.
Additional chant practices:
- Maitri Bhavana: Meditation practice for those that are critically ill.
Second Sunday of every month as part of the Sunday morning meditation. - Sukhavati: A funeral ceremony for those who have recently died.
Fourth Sunday of every month as part of the Sunday morning meditation.
