Monday Night Open Class
Monday Night Open Class is a popular drop-in class open to anyone interested in exploring or engaging Shambhala and Buddhist teachings.
Each class offers an in-depth taste of one aspect of the teachings, always presented in relation to meditation practice and to daily life. We open with group meditation instruction at 7:00 pm, and continue sitting until 7:30. After a short tea break, a talk is presented with ample opportunity for interaction, questions and discussion.
This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse oneself in dharma teachings and meditation practice in a single evening. We welcome both newcomers and familiar faces. No previous experience needed. Come to one class, or come every week.
Every Monday (except major holidays)
7–7:30 pm- Meditation Instruction and Sitting Practice
7:30–7:45 pm- Tea
