Boulder Shambhala will be offering the entire Sacred Path series culminating with Golden Key over Memorial Day Weekend in 2020.

This offering combines the Great Eastern Sun & Windhorse programs to prepare students to take the Drala weekend.

Great Eastern Sun is the first of five weekends in the Sacred Path series. The vision of the Great Eastern Sun is the entrance into sacred world and continues the lifelong journey of creating uplifted, sane society in our lives.

Between 1976 and 1980, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche received four Shambhala treasure teachings, or terma. In the Windhorse weekend, participants receive the instruction for “raising windhorse,” which opens the heart and refreshes one's confidence. This practice is a way to bring about skillful and heartfelt social engagement, enabling the warrior to go forward in the midst of whatever challenges occur.

Material fee: The Windhorse source book are required and will be handed out during the weekend. The total cost for this text is $20.

Prerequisites: Shambhala Training I–V, the "Everyday Life" series, and "Rigden: Unconditional Confidence." Enlightened Society Assembly is not a prerequisite.

*If just taking Windhorse portion, prices are:

Full Price: $165
Sponsor Price: $200
Member Price: $120
Subsidized Price: $85
(There is also a $20 materials fee.)

Shambhala weekends are structured to offer teachings within the context of an urban retreat atmosphere. Attendance is required for the Friday night talk and for each session of the program.
