    Room: Main Shrine Room

How can we honor our unique teachings and culture while also opening the umbrella to provide a home for people with different practice paths? Please join us for a conference led by Lady Diana Mukpo, wife of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, with Loppön Lodrö Dorje, Sangyum Agness Au, Acharya Noel McClellan, and other presenters, young and old, who represent the wisdom of our traditions.

Join us to practice, talk, listen, and contemplate together while we examine our past, rest in the challenges of the present, and imagine possibilities for the future of Shambhala.

The program begins with an address by Lady Diana on Friday evening, and continues Saturday with a blend of meditation practice, panel-led discussions, and dialogue. The panels will explore the meaning of lineage and our aspirations for the future of Shambhala. This will give us a chance to acknowledge that mistakes have been made and, at the same time, recover the brilliance of our lineage streams.

Our facilitator, Acharya Susan Skjei, will guide us in various conversations to evoke and gather the wisdom of the assembly and link this to Shambhala’s ongoing process of change. Following this, there’s an opportunity to engage with Lady Diana and the panelists over dinner Saturday evening. This will be a chance to share food and drink in an uplifted and celebratory style.

Ticket price includes light reception Friday evening, lunch and tea on Saturday.

Friday evening only: $25 regular price; $40 patron price
Friday and Saturday: $45 regular price; $75 patron price; $30 subsidized price
Dinner with Lady Diana: price TBD
