Weekly Dharma Talk & Pandemic Support Group Update
Dear Boulder Shambhala Center Community,
As the pandemic is with us for the long haul, in order to sustain the energy of our Boulder Shambhala Center teachers and facilitators, all of whom have significantly volunteered their time for the past five months.
Going forward,
As of the week of August 23rd, the Pandemic Support Group will continue once a week—
Mondays, Noon-1PM.
The week of August 30th,our wonderful MWF Dharma Talk & Meditation Practice will continue once a week—Monday evenings, 6-7PM.
We thank everyone who has participated in these offerings, our participants, our teachers, and our facilitators for bringing these meaningful offerings to the Boulder Shambhala Community. Thank you!
Not to worry! At the same time rather than a diminishing of offerings, we have fresh, new offerings coming up, such as:
The Bodhisattva Path—which will be a meaningful dive into one of the most classic texts of the Mayahana Buddhist tradition, Shantideva’s Way of the Bodhisattva—led by Holly Gayley and Loden Nyima begining Wednesday August 26th. In October we truly are excited to offer a program on the Epic of Gesar taught by our dear friend Lama Chonam, who translated the first three volumes of the epic with Sangye Khandro and Robin Kornman.
Please join us for these and more to come!
