The Boulder Shambhala Center is honored to be hosting world-renowned musicians Michael Fitzpatrick and Rami Yadid on October 21st.

Commissioned by the Offices of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to compose a “hit song” based on the Heart Sutra, VEHICLE made its debut performing “Verses of the Heart” on stage with 200 Tibetan Monks and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and subsequently performed on the main stage for over 10,000 people gathered for the PEOPLE’S CLIMATE MARCH in New York City.

Comprised of world-renowned musicians Michael Fitzpatrick and Rami Yadid, VEHICLE was to have performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama during His now postponed visit to Boulder. VEHICLE will now perform a special Benefit Concert at Boulder Shambhala Center on Wednesday, October 21st.

In addition to VEHICLE’S performance – designed to induce feelings of compassion to inspire action in all in attendance to answer Earth’s call – a Special Edition CD of COMPASSION, re-mastered and housed in a Deluxe Art-Package, will be released the evening of October 21st.

In honor of the legacy connection between His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Thomas Merton, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and Ambassador James George, the evening’s proceeds will benefit Millenia Music and Boulder Shambhala Center. Suggested donation is $20. Sponsorship at $100 + includes: VIP Reception to meet the artists prior to the performance, VIP seating, and complimentary Special Edition COMPASSION CD.
