Spreading Delight Completed! Goal Accomplished!

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the Spreading Delight condiment drive the Boulder Shambhala Center hosted has met its goal of collecting 300+ condiments for EFAA‘s food bank!

unnamedThese condiments will be distributed to families in need through the food bank that EFAA has in place and will help enliven and enrich the food that so many Boulder families depend on. It is with great appreciation that EFAA’s volunteer team collected the condiments after this past Shambhala SunDay September 6th. During a celebratory BBQ the four weekly prize winners (random) and the four judged winners: the ‘most child-friendly’ award going to Walter Taylor and Chris Lincoln for Maple Syrup, ‘the most high-brow’ going to Elaine Yuen for Gluten Free Tamari, ‘most exotic’ to Mary Brooks for Jyoti Masala Sauce, and ‘most classic’ prize going to Dinah McKay for Thick n’ Chunky salsa were announced and issued their gift certificates in front of the gathered assembly.

spreadingdelight shelfThe Spreading Delight condiment drive is only the first in what we here at the Shambhala Center hope will be a long standing collaboration with EFAA to help with their ongoing efforts to help combat homelessness within the greater Boulder community!
