About The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma:

For thirteen years, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche spent three months of the year presenting Buddhist teachings to a group of his senior students. These seminaries, as they were called, were a landmark moment in a practitioner’s life. Every year the transcripts from these teachings were edited and published, but were only available to authorized students.

The chief editor at the time was Judith Lief, who, in the mid-1970’s began the extensive work of compiling all these teachings. Now, forty years after the first Vajradhatu Seminary took place, Acharya Emeritus Lief has completed this mammoth work. It has just been published in three volumes totaling more than 2,000 pages, as The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma. Now, for the first time, all of the seminary teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche are available to the world at large.
