and Introductory Meditation Instruction
The Boulder Shambhala Center offers several opportunities for beginning and experienced meditators to receive introductory and ongoing meditation instruction.
Sunday Open House
Join us at the center on Sundays for an introduction to our center, lineage, and community. The Open House includes a talk, meditation instruction, discussion, and a social. Drop-ins are welcome. Learn more
Every Sunday from 10:30am to noon in the community room, no charge.
Monday Night Open Class
This weekly drop-in class is open to everyone – new and experienced meditators alike. Each session begins with a half-hour of group meditation instruction followed by a talk and discussion. We explore how the insight arising out of meditation may be applied to our contemporary lives. The emphasis is on bringing dharma and meditation practice into focus in a fresh and provocative way. New topics and teachers each week. Every Monday, 7 – 9pm, $10 donation requested.
Wednesday Drop-in Meditation Instruction
Every Wednesday, we offer public group meditation instruction from 5 to 6 pm. This is an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of sitting meditation. You may wish to ask questions, to deepen or reconnect with your practice, or get to know others interested in meditation practice.

Beginning to Meditate
Meditation practice can become part of anyone’s life. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome at this introductory workshop. Led by senior teachers, the class includes meditation instruction and practice, a talk, group discussions, and refreshments. Register for a class
